I have been so impressed with the Halloween stuff at Dollar Tree this year. I picked up quite a few items for decorating, and even am doing Drew’s costume from there! I though that I would share some of my favorites and ideas that I have come across this year in case you need any last minute party decorations!
1. Creepy Fabric
I love using this to drape in various places. I used it a lot on my mantle, and cut smaller pieces for my shutter vases. They had black, grey, and white; Target had the same thing for $10, soooo unless you prefer paying 10x more, stuck with Dollar Tree!
2. Florals
I typically bypass the florals at Dollar Tree, but their Halloween ones were pretty on point. I snagged these dark hydrangeas for a buck each, and I put 2 in each vase.
3. Floating Witch’s Hat Luminaries
I think that these are so clever. I don’t really incorporate witches or monsters in my own Halloween decor, but there is no denying that these look awesome! All you need are the hats and glow sticks, both found at Dollar Tree!

4. Hanging Cages
I thought that this was so incredibly creative! The laundry baskets and the chains can both be found at Dollar Tree. They even animal skeletons and smaller scale human skeletons too! Source
5. Trash Bag Spider Webs
I thought that these were a really great idea for a parties, a classroom, or even front porch because you can create several webs for such little cost.
6. Puffy Spiders
Dollar Tree is my go to place to get tissue paper for gifts, so why not reimagine it to make pom poms and turn them into spiders? You can even snag some oversized google eyes from their Halloween stuff to go with them!

7. Floral Skull
I could not get over how similar the skulls I found in Dollar Tree were to the ones I found in Walmart ($4) and Target ($10). They looked great as is, or you could paint them a solid color, cut a space in the top, and add flowers (again, from Dollar Tree like in idea #2!) to great a unique table top decorations.
8. Skeleton Hand
I was watching Laurie’s story from The Glam Farmhouse the other day when she shared how she styled this tray for Halloween. I thought to myself, I saw a hand just like that at Dollar Tree! (I believe she mentioned that she picked hers up at Michael’s)
9. “Cement” Pumpkin
Its no secret that Dollar Tree’s faux pumpkins are not going to be fooling anyone anytime soon; not with their bright orange and green coloring. All it takes is a little paint to make them look super cool! I love this idea, especially because Dollar Tree also sells super realistic faux succulents!
10. ‘Bleeding’ Candle
I have been drawn to these a lot this year, but I think they are still a little too scary for my personal Halloween decorating style. There are a couple ways you can do this:
1. But a 2 pack of premise ‘bleeding’ candles from Walmart for $3.
2. Re dip your own red Dollar Tree Candle in melted white wax. This makes it ‘bleed’ when you burn it.
Or 3. Drip melted red wax on top of and down the sides of a white candle, as described in the photo and source below.Source
