Last Christmas was the first year that I turned a blank wall in our kitchen into a gallery wall. It has been so much fun changing it up for each season! Here is this year’s Christmas wall:
I reused a couple signs from last year, and added a few more from the Etsy shop this year.
This little vignette on the shelf is a personal favorite. There’s lots of layering going on with plates, my cow creamer, a mini cake stand, and peppermint stir sticks for cocoa!
Speaking of cocoa, the little canister on top of the red plates have some super cute snowflake marshmallows that are perfect for placing on top of your mug of steamy chocolate-y goodness!
Around the corner from the coffee station and gallery wall is the buffalo plaid wall. I opted to hang out stockings from the hooks here instead of from our mantle this year. I love how it looks, especially with the fresh garland draped down the banister!
I love the little Christmas tree that I added here too. I had this red and white strainer that I picked up at TJ Maxx year’s ago, knowing that I could do something with it for Christmas. It’s been a table centerpiece, and now it’s the perfect bad for my mini tree! The tree is one that sits in a pot, so it made it easy to tuck inside the strainer. I wrapped a little fabric around the base and called it a day! The decorations are little kitchen utensils and cookie cutters.
I kept the table pretty simple this year. The centerpiece is an old wooden toolbox that I filled with a candelabra and and some garland.
For the settings, I picked up these cedar placemats And galvanized house napkin rings. I layered my “go to” white dishes and red and white check napkins. A little clipping of the fresh garland added a nice little touch to each setting as well.
That’s Christmas in the kitchen this year! What do you think?
