Post Christmas decorating always feels tricky at first. Everything feels so bare after taking down the holiday decorations. I especially miss the glowy look of lights everywhere.
I tend to go pretty neutral in my color scheme, and this year was no different. I did, however keep around several of my evergreen trees from Christmas. If it didn’t have red, it stayed!
I hit up Michaels to snag some of their post-Christmas florals on sale. They had these really cool white frosted branches that I thought added some interest.
Some pinecone filled branches, a couple wooden sphere picks from my Christmas tree, and a white poinsettia clip filled the rest of my shutter vases.
The black and white Buffalo check blanket that my mom got me for Christmas was the perfect detail on the DIY blanket ladder.
